Ever wonder what people are thinking? I don't. I know. The secret isn't hearing people's thoughts... the secret is making it stop. I've been doing both for as long as I can remember, way before I ever heard the word 'telepath'. Still, when God hooks you up with free cable, you gotta think he expects you to do a little surfing.
I don't tell many people about my gift. I'm not into being the freakshow at a party. Besides, who would believe me anyway? All my life I told myself, "turn it off, shut it down, make it go away".
